We are Claudette and Sam, parents and dinosaur fans! Our youngest certainly loves all things dinosaur and has just turned three. Imaginative play has really taken off along with a thirst for knowledge and a curiosity for the world, so it's wonderful to be able to support his interest and immerse ourselves into his little world. Steg and Rex is home to everything dinosaur. We are passionate about creating resources, sourcing toys and resources from small businesses that we love and that tread as lightly as possible on our planet. We are so pleased you are here!
A liTTLE BIT OF PRE-HISTORY!
Although we are named Steg and Rex after, arguably, the most well known dinosaurs, it is hard to pick a favourite as we are discovering so many fascinating species everyday. Claudette always dreamed of digging up dinosaur bones, opting to volunteer for digs and visiting museums in her early twenties, although she never followed that path, she is enjoying unearthing facts about dinosaurs now and creating play kits that spark children's imagination and provide opportunities to explore natural history.
Sam quickly had a speed lesson in all things dinosaur when our littlest one began levelling up his knowledge from T-rex to Baryonyx, it's incredible how much children pick up. Now Sam loves a dino and a beltbag!
