Ammonoidea (n) - Ammonoids are a group of extinct species of marine mollusc animals. They are excellent index fossils, and can be used to date geological formations.
This intricate pencil design features trilobites and orthoceros fossils alongside the eponymous, swirling ammonites. 
Each element has been hand drawn in pencil before being digitally printed in Sweden onto a sustainable pressed birch wood tray.
These trays are great for play, study, or look great as a display piece. They are also dishwasher safe, so functional too!
